Martha Strong is the design director and owner of Strong Design Consultants and a Registered Interior Designer in the State of Illinois. Since receiving her BFA in Interior Architecture at the School of the Art Insititute of Chicago, Martha has been involved in a wide range of professional opportunities. She has directed interiors teams within several Chicago architecture firms, overseeing large projects in the healthcare, senior living, higher education, multi-family, and corporate sectors.

At Strong Design Consultants, Martha provides turn-key interior design services to developers, owners, and operators as well as project-specific deliverables to architectural firms. As an advocate for affordable and accessible housing, and for senior living communities that serve residents from all income levels, Martha derives tremendous satisfaction from creating unique and memorable environments that improve the lives of residents and staff. She serves on the board of directors of a local non-profit senior housing community as well as other leadership roles in the community. In her leisure time, she loves sewing, baking, visiting with her mom or three grown children, and renovating her home with her architect husband.
